Arvind expands further on data quality by sharing the incongruity of offering the c-suite “shiny dashboards” that aren’t providing accurate information because organizations have not addressed the underlying problems of bad data. In fact, Arvind notes that “less than 3% of an organization's data meets the basic threshold for quality.” The result, trust in data is eroded and companies are unable to seize the opportunity afforded by real-time decision making.
