Vice President, Marketing
Marty Gilbert is Utopia’s Global Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Mr. Gilbert has global responsibility for developing marketing programs that create greater awareness for Utopia’s brand and drive new sales leads through digital marketing programs, channel partner collaboration, new product launches and public relations.
Mr. Gilbert brings over 30 years of marketing experience in the B2B technology space working across a broad range of industries. Most recently he was VP of Global Marketing for Vision Solutions Inc., a leading software and IT professional services company that provides data migration, high availability and disaster recovery for enterprises and cloud service providers. Mr. Gilbert’s data background also includes a role as Chief Operating Officer for STATS Inc., a sports data and analytics firm that delivers real-time content to major TV networks, fantasy sports game operators and professional sports teams. He spent 18 years with Motorola Inc., where he helped bring several cellular, mobile data and RFID technologies into the marketplace through leadership positions he held in marketing, sales and product management. Additionally, his career includes 20 years of international experience along with expatriate assignments in Japan and Hong Kong. While working in Tokyo for Dentsu Inc., the world’s largest advertising agency, Mr. Gilbert’s ad creations regularly appeared in Time, Newsweek and Fortune magazines.
Mr. Gilbert has his MBA from Loyola University and a BS in business from Miami (Ohio) University. He is also an avid jazz fan and enjoys an occasional round of golf.
