Utopia, Inc. grows exponentially for third straight year, as demand for reusable and scalable data solutions and "big data" initiatives gain global momentum
MUNDELEIN, Illinois – September 30, 2011 - Utopia, Inc., a leading data consulting and services provider, soars for third year in a row as one of America's fastest-growing private companies as reported by Inc. Magazine rankings. Utopia experienced a record revenue growth of an amazing 263 percent. The magazine recognizes the creativity, dedication, and hard work that has gone into establishing Utopia as a leader in data solutions leveraging their proprietary Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management™ (EDLM) methodology.
"Utopia is experiencing a tremendous amount of growth right now. Demand for reusable and scalable data solutions such as ours, combined with 'big data' initiatives globally are perfectly aligned. Businesses that run SAP today are looking for exactly what we have to offer. And our results speak for themselves. We are humbled and thrilled to have jumped over 800 spots to make it into the top echelon on the prestigious Inc. list. This validates our in-market success, and value proposition for our customers," stated Arvind J. Singh, co-founder & CEO of Utopia, Inc.
Each year companies lose millions of dollars due to poor decision making based on inaccurate data. "Not having reliable and high quality data is a choke point for our customers to run their businesses effectively. Utopia is unique in the way we deliver a comprehensive data solution that allows our customers to 'get it clean, and keep it clean,'" said Singh.
A key driver of Utopia's success is its ability to combine technology and in-house custom solutions with a sophisticated delivery team. Utopia utilizes the SAP® BusinessObjects™ Data Services software as a core building block in its solution. "Our people and our strategic partnership with SAP has allowed us to leverage state-of-the-art technology to deliver repeatable and scalable solutions to the long standing data problem," added Singh.
The 2011 Inc. rankings serve as a unique illustration of the profound changes taking place in the U.S. economy. Despite the fact that most of this year's measuring period of 2007-2010 took place during a stagnant economic environment median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year's list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.
"Utopia is proud to have been a contributor to the 350,000 jobs being created and still continues to hire at a rapid rate daily. We are already looking forward to see where we will rank in 2012," stated Singh.
Utopia was acknowledged at the Annual Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony held September 22–24, 2011, in Washington, D.C.
