Director of Program Management
Mr. Ernie Dacho leads the project delivery operations in North America and is responsible for ensuring consistent, high quality on-site project execution, and deliverables. Mr. Dacho is a member of Utopia’s management leadership team. Prior to this role, he was a principle solutions consultant at Utopia, assisting leaders at Fortune 500 corporations to implement Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management (EDLM) strategy and framework within their respective organizations, as well as overseeing data migration projects in both the USA and Canada. He has over 15 years of knowledge and experience in the areas SAP Business Suite, data migration, data archiving, data quality Improvement and enterprise data content management.
Prior to joining Utopia, Mr. Dacho was the enterprise data management expertise center leader at a Fortune 50 multi-national manufacturing company. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing enterprise master data stewards, central enterprise data management systems globally as well as the integration of SAP MDM NetWeaver and IBM® Infosphere™ IIS within the enterprise. In addition, he was involved in over 30 mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and corporate restructurings with his most notable achievement being the project lead for the IT integration of a $15B acquisition.
Mr. Dacho began his career in power generation & distribution in Ontario, Canada as a professional electrical engineer working on turbine control systems, electrical/steam/water/air distribution as well as water treatment and waste water operations. He also has extensive production experience overseeing operations of hydrocarbon storage facilities and international pipeline operations.
Mr. Dacho holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, is a registered professional engineer, a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and holds a Master Black Belt in Lean Design for Six Sigma.
