Ernie E. Dacho

Vice President, Global PMO & Talent Development

Mr. Dacho leads the global program management office delivery center at Utopia which provides efficient and effective business processes that drive high quality project results and world class service. In addition, he works closely with the sales and human capital management (HCM) teams to ensure highly skilled resources are deployed in a timely manner onto new and on-going client project engagements. Mr. Dacho is a member of Utopia's management leadership team.

Prior to this role, Mr. Dacho was the director of program management responsible for the delivery of projects both in the US and Canada. He has unique expertise in assisting leaders at Fortune 500 corporations implementing enterprise data lifecycle management™ (EDLM) strategies within their respective organizations and has over 18 years of experience in the areas of SAP® Business Suite, data migration and data quality improvement.

Prior to joining Utopia, Mr. Dacho was the enterprise data management expertise center leader at a Fortune 50 multi-national manufacturing company. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing enterprise master data stewards, central enterprise data management systems globally as well as the integration of SAP MDM NetWeaver® and IBM® Infosphere™ IIS within the enterprise. He was involved or lead over 30 mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and corporate restructurings with his most notable achievement being the project lead for the IT integration of a $15B acquisition.

Mr. Dacho began his career in power generation & distribution in Ontario, Canada as a professional electrical engineer working gas turbine control systems, electrical/steam/water/air distribution as well as water treatment and waste water operations. He also has extensive production experience overseeing hydrocarbon storage facilities and international pipeline operations.

Mr. Dacho holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, is a registered professional engineer, a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt in Lean Design.
