Prescription & Healthcare Related Services Company
The recent acquisition of a drug chain added a significant number of retail stores and Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) services to the client’s family.

In support of the “One View of the Patient” initiative, our client embarked on a HIPAA compliant project to extract, transform and migrate the data contained in their acquired drug stores legacy CRM/PBM system into their proprietary CRM/PBM system.

The project involved analyzing and assessing existing patient data from legacy source systems, defining data cleansing and transformation rules and mapping data elements legacy source to target system.   SAP Business Objects data services platform was leveraged for coding and testing of the data transformation logic and generating target system compliant output files for final upload.

The purpose of this project was to achieve improved business process efficiency, increase the availability and performance of systems and decrease overall IT costs while ensuring compliance and protecting content against disaster. Since their data is leveraged as an asset, they sought out ways to manage their many data sources and effectively digitize their
unstructured content. This simplification to their business process would allow business applications to be optimized and compliance drivers to be satisfied.
