SAP DATA MIGRATION PROJECT MANAGER
Position Highlights
- Provide guidance on the most appropriate methods and strategy for uploading into SAP
- Develop upload/conversion programs
- Perform unit testing, write technical specifications
- Prepare load program SRS documents
- Review SRS documents prepared by the SAP Data Loading Programmers
- Coordinate with the SI technical team regarding client transports, testing strategies, etc.
- Participate in Data Mapping workshops and follow-up meetings with the client business and IT teams
- Work with functional SAP/ERP teams closely to understand the gaps, coordinate with business on specific business rules, work with data migration programmers on transformation rules and meet project standards using proven data load tools and methodology
- Schedule, communicate and conduct data mapping workshops
- Liaison with business, IT and Functional teams on the project on day to day basis
- Plan activity schedule and create project documentation on data migration process strategy based on the blueprint
- Assist data extraction and data transformation teams with data mapping, technical mapping and transformation rules
- Identify functionality gaps and map the source and target structures as per blueprint
- Prepare technical specification document for script development
- Monitor and assist data load team
- Prepare input/output reports and assist business analyst in preparing reconciliation reports
Education & Skills
- Degree in IT/Engineering,
- 10-20 years of experience
- Skill sets: SAP MM, PM , Data Migration, ABAP, SAP BusinessObjects Data Services
- Work exposure: Multiple industries across various business processes

Position Highlights
- MUST have worked as a sap-mm data migration projects
- MUST have a good knowledge of the MM sub modules and be able to design and configure processes in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, Material
- Requirement Planning, Invoice verification processes Should also know how MM process integrates with QM, Finance, SD and PP modules
- Must have expertise in SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and WM(Warehouse Management) which closely integrate with MM processes
- STRONG knowledge of ABAP
- STRONG knowledge of LSMW, BDC and other data migration tools
- STRONG knowledge of master data extraction, transformation and loading
- Experience in SAP BusinessObjects in services like data integrator preferred
